Hello again blog friends.
Ahh, finally a finish for the month!
Lastly, I stitched the words Pumpkin Hollow. It looks more vivid in person, the camera just can't capture how these colors pop.
Now that's done, I went ahead with my other priority WIP. This one I really want to finish right away because it's just so appropriate for this month:
Now you see what I mean? lol. Words, words, words- that's what I've been doing right before writing this blog.
The green grass I stitched from weekend to yesterday. I think now it's obvious what will go in there. You can pretty much guess what animals they are too (no, there won't be any elephants).
Thanks for visiting. Happy Stitching!

I stitched the window panes in Ecru instead of 738 (as written on the chart) because the picture with the pattern showed a much lighter hue which also appealed more to me (plus I have Ecru that's really getting old in my floss bin), I might straighten that backstitch if I'm in the mood, lol.Lastly, I stitched the words Pumpkin Hollow. Awesome progress congrats on the finish!
ReplyDeleteWonderful finish , well done.
ReplyDeleteYour Pumpkin Farm finish is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely finish gominam! I think the backstitch looks fine and I wouldn't pick it out, you might damage the stitches underneath.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard that version of the monthly rhyme, I know a slightly different version that doesn't rhyme! It's another lovely stitch, even without elephants.
Fantastic finish. Love the progress on the other WIP.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the lovely finish !!:) You got lot of words stitched on your WIP.
ReplyDeleteThat's a barn so definitely no one will guess it an elephant.
Your finish looks amazing and I think the colours pop just fine:)) What a fun design your other WIP is turning out to be - I'm sure you'll finish it in no time. You seem to be on a roll right now:))
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your latest pumpkin finish! It looks lovely :)
ReplyDeleteWoo hoo! It looks great! You are mighty close to another finish.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the finish!! Love your WIP. Good luck!!
ReplyDeletePumpkin Hollow is great, I like the choice of the Ecru for the windows too.
ReplyDeleteThe verse on the day of the months is interesting, it's a different version to the one we use in England. Shame there's no elephants though, they are very good at remembering things like this!
Congrats on your finish and best of luck getting the leap year design finished in time!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely lovely, your Pumpkin Farm finish.
ReplyDeleteLove your pumpkin finish :0)
ReplyDeleteYour days of the month looks great too... That rhyme is my way of remembering the number of days in a month. You wouldn't believe how many times a year I think about it!
