I got caught!

Hello blog friends.
Hmmm, I guess some of you got that suspicious frontal lobe working on what evil have I done (this time), LOL.
It's a secret no more😱! DH has seen "The Record." I was working on it on not-so-late nights...when he came out the bedroom for a glass of water. I played it cool (I think) continuing to stitch while mentally ordering him to "go away, please go away.🙈" But maybe he sensed even the slight uneasiness of my needle, haha. Anyway, he seemed to genuinely appreciate the effort. Well, he hasn't seen it completed yet so it may still surprise him.
So that was some nights ago. And after that, the needle begged me to stitch overtime. There's something about being caught that makes you want to prove your worth😅...

The bright side of the story is... I get to stitch black and gray anytime of the day now😉

Thanks for visiting. Happy Stitching!

  2. It looks lovely!! Your thought about getting caught and proving worth is very true. My daughter is very bad at keeping secrets. She makes hiding so obvious by acting supercool that her dad can easily guess.

  4. D'oh!! Such a shame he has seen it.
But still, it wasn't fully finished, so I'm sure he'll still be pleasantly surprised when it's all done :)

  10. o no! This is when I switch from mentally ordering to squeaking "no no no, I love you but go awaaaaay~~~" I am not speaking from experience or anything.... :) At least it survived this long and he can still be awed by the final reveal!

  11. At least he showed an interest! I stitch every evening in the same room where my husband watches TV and he has no clue as to what I'm stitching!
