Hello again dear friendly bloggers.
Here's a very brief update on my weekend stitching...
Prairie Stars:
I only managed to fill in Santa and add a little bit of the next piece. I also tried coffee-dyeing a 16ct fabric, but it wasn't meant to be. It smelled so strong I had to rinse it three times (btw, I don't drink coffee). Then when I ironed it, it just looked a burnt line across. Next time I might try tea.
My department went bowling last Sunday. It was fun, but once I got home I didn't have enough energy to pick up the needle (as if it's heavier than a bowling ball, haha) and next day I was back to work early. This week I'm also oncall so I'll probably be stitching at night, but not so much posting. As always, thanks for the comments, your kind words fuel this blog:)
Thanks for visiting. Happy Stitching.

Santa looks great! Sorry to hear about your fabric, that stinks (literally). Hope the tea dying works better.
