I had to work early today until afternoon. Our department decided last Friday that we open today and be closed on Monday due to Hurricane Erika, then predicted to hit Florida by Monday. Good thing it has been downgraded to tropical wave since yesterday, so everybody's okay. (photo below was taken around 6:45am today)
Stitchwise, I have a new WIP. I did it. I started my Halloween chart yesterday (aiming to finish it by end of September. Goal too ambitious? I didn't say what year, haha)
This is my second 16ct. (Ziggy was the first one), woohoo! I'm using lite oatmeal aida.

I already expect that it's going to be those words that will give me a difficult time to reach my goal. They are too small for 16ct. but I'm still not brave enough to use 18ct or smaller. I'll just enjoy the xstitches for now. Thanks for visiting. Happy Stitching!
Love your new start Gominam.

ReplyDeleteOH, that's a great design. You will have a lot of fun stitching it.
ReplyDeleteGreat start! We started our move yesterday but I'm glad the hurricane got downgraded. The rain beforehand kinda ruined our plans though.
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased to hear that the hurricane was downgraded... :o)
ReplyDeleteLove your new start!
Hugs xx
What a great design! Have fun stitching it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your Halloween WIP. I like stitching on 16/32ct the best. :)
ReplyDeleteAs fast as you've been stitching, I'm sure you'll make your goal. :D That's a fun-looking chart. Sucks about all the rain (even from a downgraded version) but they do make for spectacular sunsets!
