Say hello to the Partridge (and Key West too)

Hello dear friends. The last block is finally here! I think I've spent more time on this one than any other block on 12 Days of Christmas (maybe I didn't want it to end too soon;)
Partridge on a pear tree
I would have shown how the whole piece looks but you know how your finicky mind works when it's done - "Is it really done... Am I satisfied, enough to do the happy dance?" I know, such drama, right? I'll tell you about it on my next post, teehee.

Here's part two of Key West pictures:
We had to do it. He's one of the authors my uncle would ask (force?) us to read in my youth. During summer vacations, the uncle would grab books from his big old bookcase and tell us to read books so we won't get bored (or keep bugging him, haha).

Nice to see familiar titles (lined up beside the staircase)

Some books are with handwritten dedication

do you see the cat? They are scattered everywhere in the house

 The bookstore/souvenir shop
I'll be sending these to my uncle, he'll surely like it;)

Just across Hemingway's home is the Lighthouse

Have a nice weekend everyone.
Thanks for visiting. Happy Stitching!
