Christmas Start

Hello friendly bloggers! Hope you all had a lovely stitching weekend.
Mine was spent leafing through magazines for that new project to alternate with Happy Day... I eventually decided to start the Christmas chart bought in July (while I was doing 12 Days of Christmas).

For fabric I'm still using aida, antique white, another 16ct. (Can you believe that! Yep, I'm surprising myself as well that I'm using this count more often than I thought I would... but still won't abandon 14, haha.)
I started with medium brown (#433). Not much progress eh? Yesterday, niece and I went to a party, that's why. Oh, I also bought some stitchy stuff on the net, so I'm still happy even if I didn't get a single stitch on Happy Day (because I left it at home). I'll try to make up for it this week.
Thanks for visiting. Happy Stitching!

  1. How lovely! I LOVE Christmas stitching so I can't wait to follow your progress on this one:))) I'm still stuck on 14 count aida - 16 count just seems a tad too small for me... you're brave!

  2. Great new start, you've chosen a lovely design!
Looking forward to seeing it grow.

  3. A great choice! Good for you with the 16ct.

  4. I just love watching your progress. You stitch so different than anything I'm used to. It's like watching a painting pop onto the fabric color by color. Good luck with it.

  5. I really enjoy watching how you are doing, thank you so much for sharing! Thanks very much for your kind birthday wishes on my blog post today, it is very much appreciated. :)

  6. Gorgeous design :o) Can't wait to see more of this one :o)
    Hugs xx

  7. That's a nice design, I love all the little reindeer on it. Great choice.

  8. I really like this chart. Like Katie, I enjoy the way you stitch each colour in turn. Looking forward to seeing this one grow,
