Snowflakes and a Finish

Hello dear blogging friends. A fruitful weekend I'm having.
It's snowflakes galore on Reindeer Games:)
 I'm quite thrilled at how the Light effects thread shines on the pale fabric, it's a little harder to manipulate though, that's why some are uneven... just don't look too close, haha.
 

Now take a step back to yesterday...
What happens if I backstitch fulltime? 
Mini Sampler Mission: Complete!
 I noticed that I had an easier time with the letters and branches as they do not touch the full cross stitches, so it was smooth sailing for me:) I even braved the french knots:

    Lovely congrats! My bug has left me unfortunately :(. I think it's the holidays...too much stuff to do. I spent like 8 hours today baking Christmas cookies. Great job with the light effects I can't stand that stuff! I much prefer kreinik lol but maybe it's because I stitched an entire big piece with it...

    So great to see your mini sampler finished. It looks gorgeous now that the backstitching is added. And Reindeer Games has the snowflakes now. Looking very good.

    Light effects are not the easiest metalics to work with. They are sparkly, though. Well done on your finishes!
