Hello bloggers. Time to check in for my sampler progress.
All alphabets done. Yay! Only 5 light color threads remaining for xstitch and then the finishing touches.
At this point I'm keeping Summer Fragrance under wraps, I've done some progress on her too but I feel these two need their own space as they get near the finish line (but it's a long way to go for the Lady due to complicated stitching beyond my level, haha).
Thanks for visiting. Happy Stitching.
Hmm I cannot see where the light colors are going to go unless between the little hearts! It will be a mystery until you finish it haha. :D
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderflul , so colourful hugs.

ReplyDeleteYour sampler is looking great. I love the bright colours in this design.
ReplyDeleteYou left a comment on my blog about dressing children alike. In our case it was because Mum bought a couple of yards of material and made three dresses for her and us two plus one for my doll. But in many families it was to show they could afford to buy two separate outfits for each child and not hand them down, as you guessed. There was a lot of stigma about wearing hand me downs in the 1970s and my sister was bullied for wearing second hand clothes at school.
How sweet. my mom did the same, sometimes my sis gets the yellow, i get pink but same cut. she took sewing classes when we were young, experimenting with us as models, lol. Moms are so great. missing her.
