Done with all the stitches. Well, for me it's done. The magazine chart actually had small quilt heart buttons (in autumn colors) scattered on the big alphabets. The buttons are no longer available at Jeremiah Junction, looked it up on Amazon and they have it for around $5-6. I think the design is ornate enough. Should 9 buttons make a big difference and at that price? It's already on my wishlist, maybe when the price gets cheaper I'll bite.
Zoom in that woman's evil smile please, Petal Fairy awaits.
Thanks for visiting. Happy Stitching!
Congrats it looks great!
ReplyDeleteVery cute finish, congrats! I don't think it needs the buttons.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing Petal Fairy get started.
It is so lovely and colourful! I particularly love the spotted letters and the hearts in the corners:) I think it looks perfect as it is without buttons...Well done! Can't wait to see the fairy:)

ReplyDeleteI would never have known buttons were called for. It looks fantastic! Job well done!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!! It looks perfect without the buttons. Good luck on your new start!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on joining me for a Happy Conga this week! I think it's fine without the buttons. I can rarely find or afford the official embellishments and usually substitute cheaper equivalents.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations - it's brilliant! Really effective. I have some small autumn leaf buttons that I'd be happy to send to you but I can't tell from your finished piece where the buttons should go! It looks finished as it is.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great, even without the buttons! I usually don't add buttons or charms either because I don't want to pay for them! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is looking great, congrats on finishing it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all, I don't think it needs the buttons either~ I can't even guess where they're supposed to go! It looks lovely as is. :D
ReplyDeleteThat is SO pretty! Sometimes 123stitch.com has those buttons cheaper. Sometimes they seem to be more. I'm not sure it needs them, though :D
